Hi Lee, is this modeling restricted to plastic models, or is RC models also allowed, as I model RC planes? Thanks Taildrager

    Hi, Taildrager,

Welcome to the Forum. Responding on behalf of Lee, please be assured that any material is acceptable when building a model. For display in the Forum, however, it must relate to WW II, unlike the one built by a chap I met in Bali - full size too!

Hello all, does anyone know where there are if any sites (physical places to visit not websites)of military modelling displays. I have seen some modelling displays and the amount of detail and the amount of effort put into can only be admired. I have seen the odd group of models at some military museums but not any with a extensive display.

    Greetings Lancesergeant!
If u ever get down to Italy, do not miss -besides others- the Ferrara modellers museum. In fact, it is housed in a fabulous vilage ouside the city & it's more than worth to see ALL kind & period models -even a scary medieval exec! I know it's abit far, but in that counrtry there are a lot of model museums -besides the full scale ones. Pls let me know & shall sent u details!
By the way, why don't we start a live model museum? As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to leave my work in a "historicaly' safe place! Don't want to "see" it in aflee market!
    Lt Fontino!
