Info: Australian? Allied Unit, Flying Officer CHARLES FRANCIS LIONEL TULLOCH,39403, 220 Sqdn., Royal Air Force

Any information would be appreciated on his cause of death as well.

    :poppy:

Need assistance on Who/Where/What/How for this man who is on the Australian Commemorative Roll which is for those "Australians" who died in other Allied Services. If proved not to be "Australian" their names will not be removed from the Commemorative Roll however their details will be updated accordingly.

I have researched most of the Air Force members but there are many more Land and Sea deaths in a myriad of different forces.

There is not a lot of information on these people that can be accessed easily and I ask your assistance to fill in at least some of the gaps.

Hopefully some relatives may see this thread and add more.

I will make a different thread for each along the way as they may tend to get lost if clumped together.

Clearly his parents are listed in the UK but who/how did he get on the Commemorative Roll.

    Geoff,

I have just located a return to the UK for the three of them in my previous post on 16 Jan 1935, when Charles would have been 18. They are shown as care of The National Australia Bank, Lothbury, London.

I have just found in the electoral rolls of 1930 a Charles and Florence Blanche Nellie Tulloch at 1 Avenue Road, Mosman. Charles is shown as an importer.

In the 1933 Electoral Roll Charles is living with Blanche Florence Nellie Tulloch at 3 Musgrave Street, Mosman and is shown as a manufacturer.

Thanks for the info Mark - Must have been one of their relations here who put his name forward.

I will leave him on the list as he spent most of his childhood here.

    Cheers

    Geoff
