I was keeping schtumm about that, ;) bought loads of Osprey books there last time I went for a very reasonable price.

Think you will find the locals get there first, you have to know the day the new books arrive!

Interesting programme on the SS Galizia Division coming to britain post war last night (On ITV of all places!) which helped explain the odd presence of all those 'Ukranian' graves and the well-maintained memorial at Cannock.
    Strange story.

Returning to Cannock Cemetery this weekend to meet a mate (and member of this site).

Anyone got any tips on particularly interesting burials there?

    Nice one.
I wonder if he'd be consoled by at least getting six feet of UK soil...

I see there's a chap with 108 aerial victories too.

    Isnt he buried in Holland?

    Bitsch, Emil - WW2 Gravestone

At least 10 Knights Cross holders buried there including Busch ? Johann Dreher, Hermann Kroll, Kurt Geisler, Ernst Busch, Alois Stoeckl, Albert von Schwern, Walter Rubensdoerffer, Martin Lutz, Hans Hahn and Adalbert Karbe.

    My apologies.
The curse of wiki again as he's on their list of Cannock burials I just saw, and yet also listed by them as in Holland.
    Will I ever learn...
