Hoping for some more help here in an area I know little of.

I am researching a REME Fitter who was serving with 1st Battalion Herefordshire Regiment. His service record shows admission to 179 Field Ambulance on the 20/1/45 and was discharged from 24 Field Dressing Station on 1st Feb 1945. Can anyone help me establish the whereabouts of either of these units and whether or not the man I am interested in was admitted as a result of wounds, injury or sickness.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Kevin Mears.
