Just wondering what the link is, between WW2Talk and 'The Heritage Group'

Is 'The Heritage Group' a sister site or affiliation site of WW2Talk?

Curious as to why new WW2Talk threads end up as 'articles' on their News page as below:-

    Cheers

Even their 'Remembering Today' is the same, and i can't find any reference to WW2Talk on their site or even their links page.

It's a bit naughty if they are piggy backing off this sites content without permission,

Looks like they have lifted the RSS feed of this site.

    Will need some investigation.

Pretty furious about this seeing some members work on there with no references given - stolen and made to appear as their own content.

Bloody cheek doesn't begin to cover it.

The feed is clearly being edited as this thread isn't in it!

It happens a lot, far too much :( For instance, ever notice how many sites get populated out of Wiki by leeching its content, when you do a Google search? No wonder the Net gets populated with fallacies and urban myths when that happens so much!

However vexing it is to see no obvious credit to the original source, there are in fact link-backs to original threads on this forum. They are embedded within the titles of the articles, in the green headers.

The thread in which I quoted articles from elsewhere has been quoted elsewhere.

I bet their website has never had so many hits.

Suppose we must be flattered by it really.
At least as D says there are live links to us on the top of each article.

Like certain websites with have 'Copyright' on images they scan from books where the author owns the private collector. Such antics does my nut in.

Can they only lift what is publicly on view or can they also access PM's, VM's, etc.?

    Best,

    Steve.
