I didn't detect anything with Windows Live One Care. Sometimes it could be a cookie that is misintepreted as a virus by some programs.
Could be - but I've not come across such before butif you're clear the GWF probably is too. Anyway just wanted to post a warning in case GWF has a problem. Regards, David
They did have problems recently, and were hacked a while back. Is it a cached version your system is detecting or is it a new threat? Might be worth reporting to the admin there, none of whom are members here so won't read this.
Could someone provide a link to the Great War Forum you are talking about. Would be interested to know what forum everyone uses that covers that period and if it is equally as good as this forum. Want to provide my services from Sudan, as I am doing on WW2Talk.
Hi Carl - the URL is: http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php? I hope you find it of interest. I am sure they will appreciate your offer of help.
Just received this: "GWF members may have noticed the Forum is currently down. I'm told the fault is at Invision's end and that there has been a major crash on the database. They' reworking on rebuilding but no indication of how quick the GWF will be back up."
