    It would seem to be on the one of the reduced V1 strikes, after many launch sites were rendered inoperable by Bomber Command attacks on 4th July.

    I can't locate Cancel Street on modern London maps, perhaps redeveloped?

    I'm a little intrigued as to why 22 year old Margaret Hartnett was there, visiting a relative, district nurse etc?

    and is this chap related to Hilda Gardner's husband?
