Following an automatic Firefox upgrade yesterday (don't you just hate these!), the Admin names (on line) are now black, not red. I've looked at the source and it seems to be Firefox is not displaying the color correctly, probably due to a coding error on the board. I see: color="990000" for von Poop etc color="#7608cb" for Sapper, etc. Could be the missing # is confusing Firefox. This seems to be the only instance where a color is specified without # Looked at IE and the color is nearer orange than red, so I guess its being interpreted as decimal and not hex, in IE Hope this is not too confusing
Thanks Geoff, it dates from this yesterday: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/network-information/14252-suggestion-box.html#post149712 After being Bright Pink for a day and deciding Captain Mainwaring wouldn't approve I'm now a more discrete deep red. Though as I've now got a decent HTML colour chart I expect I may change shade a few times until I'm happy . It worked fine in IE & Google, so thanks a lot for the Firefox heads up - I've added the hash symbol (live and learn) and it's now displaying on there as required too. Cheers, Adam.
