(Paul Reed @ Oct 31 2005, 11:08 AM) [post=40838] It simply looks - to me - as if someone forgot to put some coins in the meter! [/b] Maybe and it is the end of the month when the bills fall due. I sent an e-mail via the main website offering to post any information here, but no reply yet. And maybe Chris is still away, so not reading his mail or checking the site.
I get it too. Chris is back though and, like others, I have sent an email to him. I expect that he is deluged and is working his heart out trying to fix things. I expect it is the host playing silly bug**rs Martin
Malcolm I get enough stick from the family about the time I spend on WW1, working on WW2 might just break the camels back Mick
Blimey what a relief. Found you all hiding in here. I too keep getting the same message up on the screen images/smilies/default/ohmy.gif Wondered what i had done to upset the Mods, relieved to see other have been sin binned too Roy Evans........If you read this Roy see you at the BCNO3 tomorrow night I have the photos and a couple of other bits to show the group Lets hope that normal service is resumed ASAP
Might still be resolving in some parts of the US but I just checked it from my Server in Texas and its down
Well, it says............. nothing much. (Except that I'm not guilty.) It was nice to be informed, though. I'll copy: A broadcast message. The “suspension” page currently appearing at the Great War Forum is nothing to do with your own user account there. There is some kind of problem at the Invision (host) end of things, and I hope to resolve and resume normal service soon. Gwyn
hmmm, its hosted with invision!! That may also explain the problem we were having on this site last night, when you tried to access the forum it asked you to download a file instead of showing the homepage. I am not hosted with Invision but the errors none the less may be related, I moved to our back up domain at wwiiforum.com to get the site running again but have since switched back to the primary domain at ww2talk.com Both sites use the same software.
I'm back online Yarhoooooooooooooooooooooooo images/smilies/default/biggrin.gif images/smilies/default/tongue.gif
