Hi all, I've spent the last 3 hours trawling through the various forums looking for a scrap of info, I'm hoping to find out which Tank Transport Company may have been used to move tanks to their starting positions ahead of the 2nd battle of El Alamein during what was known as Operation Bertram. Even more specifically which may have transported the tanks of the 1st Armoured Division's 2 Armoured Brigade consisting of The Queen's Bays, 9th Queen's Royal Lancers and 10th Royal Hussars. I have found an OOB for the brigade which listed A & B Companies RASC but nothing more specific. Thanks for looking.
