Pte George W Gibson

    This is my great-uncle George who was in the 2nd Border Regiment.
    All that I know is that he served in Burma/India and that one of his medals
    was the Burma Star, as for the rest I do not know what they are.
    He survived the war, and was killed in a lead mine disaster attempting to
    save his friends life and recived the pos-hom award for his bravery.
    Would love to find out a little bit more about where he served, if anybody
    can help it would be great.
