Yes I know it's a clunky thread title but after the influx of Vietnam War related threads by forum members who are Veterans of that war we now have a new place to put them.

Yes , I know we are called WW2Talk but alot of us are interested in other periods of history too.

My main area of interest is R.A.F. Bomber Command during World War Two. That is one of the reasons I frequent this forum.

Through a some what circular route I ended up in another war and I am now at the stage of life where I am enjoying sharing some of my stories which I look forward to posting here.

    Hello,

My name is Raul Iglesias, and I attend the University of Southern California in LA. I'm reaching out to this forum to ask if there is anybody who may be interested in sharing any stories and/or experiences that they have collected and stored inside them from the Vietnam War. You need not be a former soldier, you need not even be someone who fought in the war. So long as the war has touched you in a way that you are willing to share for myself and my coursework, it's all I and my group can ask for. For example, is there anything particular about working with Vietnam War veterans that sticks with you as opposed to other veterans? If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me, either through phone number 7025538076, or (preferably) email rauljesus100@gmail.com

I really look forward to hearing from you! I understand that stepping forward and discussing such events is difficult, so I want to offer my appreciation far in advance.

    Thank you
    Raul Iglesias
