    From the 1945 Navy List. Following the Navy List which was published twice a year is a good way if keeping up with the changing Royal Marines structure throughout the war. More information is available through the Navy List than the Army List which usually provides the Regiment or Corps into which an officer is commissioned but little else.

    The Navy Lists even contain details of Sergeant Majors in each unit within the Corps right down to sub unit level.
