There was a similar fault on another InVision board I frequent a month or so ago - it was down for about eight hours, but doesn't use InVision's servers. The good news is they successfully rescued all four and a half million posts.

Don't understand the intricate technical details of webpages but was it absolutely necessary to scrap the old system? Was it a case of "If it ain't broke don't mend it"? Tony
Tony - they had to do an update to the software as the previous version was out of date and no longer supported by their Server which meant if it went wrong they would not fix it. I don't think this current issue has anything to do with the new software.
