There is this at the User CP. Not wishing to sound like an
    [IMG],
does it have any practical use, or is it just a kiddie feature bringing no real benefit at all?

I don't see any practical use for it, but if someone indicates that they want to be friends, then I do the neighborly thing and reciprocate. Really, I think that this feature is a big deal on that Facebook apparatus thingamabob. My two niece's spend a lot of time on that thing, adjusting it, up loading pictures and whatever else they do with that silly stuff.

I think it's a good feature that help builds up trust on a site like this, which is in many ways a form of 'community'. But maybe it's an English thing?

It is a bit 'facebooky', but it's sometimes handy as a quick-list of people you might PM more often than others.
Comes with the package, and I suppose has much more facility for teenage forums (fori?) Use it if you like, don't if you don't.

I get the feeling Vbulletin has plans for the friends thing but hasn't quite pushed them forward yet.

Fora  Though, I suspect, " Fori " may also be acceptable?

I don't get it. Is that what the kids of today call forums?

I think it's handy, esp if you need to PM a lot of people, nice to have a list of contacts rather than searching forum or members list. Though, I did catch one of my kids playing around with that function as if it were club penguin

The added bonus is that someone might want to actually call you a mate. I only ever deleted one contact off my list; someone said it would be handy for them should they ever need to contact me and after a year they never have ...

Good question. I'll make a point of asking my GrandNephew next time I see him :D

    LATIN DECLINATION TABLES

In Latin, there are five declinations. For knowing the declination of a noun, we have to see the nominative and genitive.
    1st declination: the form is a-ae. E.g.:fabula, fabulae.<o></o>
    2nd declination: the form is us-i. E.g.populus, populi<o></o>
3rd declination: here we have: nouns with pair sylabals, nouns with impair sylabals, false pair sylabals, and false impair sylabals. <o></o>
The false of pair sylabals are only seven, all have something to do with the family.<o></o>
The false of impair sylabals are the one that have impair sylabals, but before the ending of the declination there is there are two consonants. The false pair sylabals and the impair sylabals are declinated in the same way. And the false impair sylabals and the pair sylabals are declinated in the same way.<o></o>
This declination has the genitive in is.<o></o>
    4th declination: the form is us-us. E.g.:aditus, aditus<o></o>
5th declination: the form has i in the genitive. E.g.: dies, diei.

Somehow wisdom of the day said take typing and forget Latin. The only use for it that I have ever found is making up really neat mottos that no two people seem to agree on the meaning. Here's the family motto:

    Nunquam expendo propola"

I now only remember one sentence from my Latin class.

Pader est agricola, or something like that.

...and I always thought knowing Latin makes one look smart - too bad it (Latin) outsmarted me after just one semester.

Or maybe it's because lessons always started at 8am midnight.

They conned us into doing latin by luring us in with a year of 'Classical studies'...
One year it was Hercules, the Iliad etc., then with little warning 'The grand sewer runs across the forum', amo amas amat etc.... horrible.

    I felt betrayed .

    forums (fori?)

I thought it was the plural for forum ... Like saying, "I am a member of three fori."

A friend of mine never tires of telling us he owns two Lexus (cars) ... So we always take the p1ss by asking how his two "Lexi" are doing. Lexusus just sounds wrong :)

"Nolo Me Tangere" - Touch Me Not or Don't Touch Me.

These words were found on the reverse of the secessionist flag of Alabama, flown after the state left the Union and before it joined the CSA. It was beneath a rattlesnake that is coiled around a cotton blossom.

The obverse of the flag was different.
