Hello Melchy i was wondering if you could tell me what regiment and where this was taken. im probably clutching at straws but im trying/hoping to find some photos of my grandad who recently passed away (he never really spoke much of his time in the war and saddly to late to ask now) he served on 158 field regiment royal artillery he was in burma and one of the chaps in this pic resembles him ( as i say probabl clutching at straws) it would have just been nice to find a photo with him in that we havent seen before)

I'm sorry to hear your grandad passed away recently although he must have had a good innings. This picture is of some members of 1st Bn Royal Sussex Regt. There's nothing written on the photot to say where it is but I believe it was taken in Kavala, Greece in early 1946. There's a few threads about 158 Fd Regt RA which may be worth you adding to, also if you google 158 Fd Regt RA and click on the images tab there's quite a few photots of them that may help. I hope you find one of him.
