good day scotrudolph,may.18.06:26pm.re: 152 mm hardened gun emplacement at arromanches,it is noticeable they survived all allied flack.that does not mean the gunners came out alive.it was a brutal battle on d.day.i was not there.i had a couple of brothers there,they came home.and survived the war,the photo's make it look so peacefull.have a great day.regards bernard85
