7th.9th Royal Scots Colours return To Edinburgh 1946.

Whilst serving in the Rhine Army at the conclusion of the Second World War, the 7th/9th (Highlanders) Battalion The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment) had their Colours and Regimental Silver with the Battalion in Detmold and Oldenburg, Germany. The Battalion ended its War-time Service on 26th June 1946. Joe Brown.
