25th Dragoons

Hi mate.
I have loads of information on 25th , Dad trained them in Burma, But be careful as SOME were trained in England then sent out to India then to Burma.
I have photo’s and at one time had FULL history of 25th Dragoon’s which were newly raised in India with other Indian Regiments, as well as odds and sods of British Arm in India.
While back at home soldiers were being properly trained to use the small tanks.
The museum for the Regiment is in Edingburgh Castle, were you an read the whole history of the regiment.

Oh one point, If like me you like badges of Regiment your Dad or family served in.
BE very carefull on E-Bay a lady sells copies as real thing.
Do not buy if you want real badge, also fora true badge
It will cost you a lot.
Only two kinds were made.
One kind in India, get one of those will really cost you,
One that was made in England for the Regiment going over, the are still expensive, but no were as dear as From India.
I can pass you photo’s of Dress uniforms of soldiers who served in India then moved into Burma.
