    Hi Andy,

I am after a copy of WO 167/724 Cheshire reg. 2bn. I’m not too sure what the situation is like at the minute or if I need to be more specific.
    Any feedback is appreciated.
    Regards, Richard.

Hi Drew I’ve recently joined the site posting under the RA pages. I was given your details, I’m trying to find info on my dads movements during the war.
He was in 22nd Field regiment from 15.04.39 to 19.04.40 part of BEF
    Then 76th Field Regiment 11.06.40 to 21.6.40

also in 124th Field regiment 26.06.40 to 20.06.42 captured around Tobruk. Do you have any of the diaries or can get access to any of them for these periods. Alternatively any contacts for anyone else who may have them. Thanks in advance Paul

To make contact with Drew5233 re War Diaries you need to look at the very first list he made when he opened this thread and follow the instructions therein.

I'm not sure Andy aka Drew is visiting Kew at the moment but try member Gary Tankard as he goes quite often

Well I think someone at Kew Head office is doing well:

677, UK pond for 32 A3 pages, I presume they will be printed on GOLD paper, not in a million year! Certified copyYesPages A332Pages A3+0Certified pages32Total pages32.
absurd these prices. 25 euro per page!!!

I thought it was 10p a page. I won’t be able to afford that kind of money. I’m hoping someone has already got the records I need. I’m waiting for some feedback from Gary as I’ve been told Drew isn’t doing it at the moment. Fingers crossed I get some info ref my Dad.

The prices Philip is talking about are what Kew charge, not what those members who offer to help charge. Do not despair :)

Thanks, I’ve only just joined the site, I’m hoping someone can help me get the diaries and it leads to more understanding of my dads war time service. I’ve contacted Drew but someone said he wasn’t doing it at the moment and only contacted Gary today so will wait to see if he gets the message.

    thanks for the info

You’re welcome, good luck with your research into your dad, you’re certainly in the right place and I’m sure Gary will be in touch soon.
