    Southsea Beach.
    c.Late 1980s.
A few hundred spent on one of the earliest CD boomboxes.
A few quid more spent on something else.
    Damn good times.

    Their finest hour.

On now. Very very... Very loud:

    Louder.
Still probably not as loud as nonagenarian neighbors average EastEnders volume, though, so I think we're ok.

Had the sound on today! Their first two albums are flawless.

I was wanting From The Lions Mouth on vinyl until the price went to 167 pound bloody hell far too dear.

No chance! I got the two box set CD compilations that came out a few years back. Pretty much all the sound material.

There's covers, and then there's covers.

    Kind regards, always,

The songs passed me by as a kid, this, back then, "Alone", was just the prelude to the cabin scene and tears of laughter.

    And two hard boiled eggs.

    Kind regards, always,

    Jim.

I love Blackfoot Di. Very partial to Southern states country-rock. I think this is why I like The Kings of Leon so much. I remember when I bought the album, Gimme Back My Bullets by Lynyrd Skynyrd, probably off the back of Freebird, my Dad asked me who they were, when I told him the name, he said, that's a shoe shop isn't it?

Realised yesterday I hadn't listened to anything by them in a while. Saw them once, at Ulster hall I think - the floorboards were definitely bouncing that night.

    Ditto.
Dad was partial to County, Western & Bluegrass so I guess some of it must've rubbed off.

    Just for us...
