Photo from my collection of a Bofors AA gun and CDSW Morris and in the background you can see a barge. The German on bofors, is in a Navy police unit.

The lost barges were the Aidie, Barbara Jean, Duchess, Doris, Ethel Everard, Lady Roseberry, Lark, Valonia and Royalty.
Photos of Ethel Everard from my collection. You see lots of photos of Aidie, Barbara Jean, and Ethel Everard, any one have photos of the other barges sunk at Dunkirk. The last two photos are of Sunken barges with no ID. Anyone knows the name of them?.

 

I wonder if the other barges sank in deep waters .

The last photo barge is under water with just the mast showing when the tide comes in. You can see it in this photo, in the background to the left of the barge Aidie, and in the 2nd photo to the left of the Ethel Everard under water. Photos from my collection.

French ship Jaguar was struck by a torpedo fired by either the E-boat S-21 or S-23. The detonation killed 13 men and wounded 23; the ship had to be beached at Malo-les-Bains . Barge Barbara Jean.

I'm interested in what appears to be a small structure at the base of the mole almost directly across from and below the sluice, and to the left of what I assume is the German bunker. Captain Tennant established a naval HQ in a "dugout" in that area during the evacuation. Is that it, I wonder? Any other closer views of that small patch of land?
