    Hello,

I recently found out one of my granduncles was a motorcycle driver for RASC during WW2

I need help figuring out what No 3 Station Company means and if it's even possible for me to order records so I can find out more about him. Do I need to be a closer relative? Maybe I can at least find more info about the company because I can't find a thing. I don't know when he joined unfortunately. I had to work backwards from when he died.

His name was Henry John Morris. Possibly went by "Jack" His service Number was T/127116 No 3 Station Transport Company. He died in a accident on his Royal Enfield 350cc in 1940. His grave is in Surrey at Dorking Cemetary

I was hoping at least to find a photo of him somewhere. The guy had a rough time of it––born in Canada but grew up in an orphanage in Southern England. Was thinking about him today since it's Remembrance Day.

    Thanks for any pointers,
    Cheers

Easy answer is no and as he died in the war you do not need a death certificate, CWGC details will do.
Get a copy of military service records

Perhaps you could post whatever details you do have to save members duplicating what is already known.

    Good luck.

The son of English parents who emigrated to Quebec in 1911. By 1919 he had returned to England with his mother and was admitted to the Talbot Boy's Home, Bournemouth. Records show he was living at 55 Hogs Hill Lane, Cobham while working as a chauffeur and gardener when World War II broke out. He served as driver with No. 3 Station Transport Company, Royal Army Service Corps, based at Woolwich. In 1930 he was killed in a road accident while driving his 350cc Royal Enfield motorcycle.
