It has figures resembling General Percival and his men talking to each other as well as an audio reenactment. The guy narrating everything is supposed to be someone who lived through the Japanese occupation.
I was a moron not to have taken photos while I was 18. But here is an article with some photos Fall of Singapore retold at World War II bunker
Went there ages ago 20 or 30 years? You went through various rooms to the final confrerence. On arrival you were given headphones that played narratives in your chosen language triggered as you walked into rooms. Memorable was commcen with dusty artefacts strewen around benches - you could hear typewriters and when you looked through a fixed binocular device in the middle of the room you saw an early version of augmented reality with actors doing the period piece superimposed on the artefacts - real ghosts of the past. Final scene was conference table discussing the loss of the reservoirs above each manekin was a screen with actor giving lines - best part was all other actors on screens reacted to the speaker. Ross
15 years ago for me, I went to Singapore for my birthday treat. It was an interesting spot, although it appeared to be in need of a little TLC even then. It was promoted as the "Battlebox" IIRC. There is a story that one of the tunnels in the complex remains walled up after it used for a rather messy hari kiri by defeated Japanese. I always intended to see what I could find to confirm that story.
