So it WAS TB. Thanks so much for your help, Ross. Since doing this project, I've become better at fact finding as I go, but there are clearly some sites that still elude me. I really appreciate all your help!

Fair play ! I had nothing on him . The post discharge deaths are often the hardest . Now if you can find Margaret Kavanagh !!

    That's a bit left field!

Do you mean the 24year old WAAF on Runnymede?

If so then same cause TB.

Runnymede is the commemoration for those "in the United Kingdom and North and Western Europe, and who have no known graves"

    In Memory Of
    Aircraftwoman 1st Class
    MARGARET DIGNAN HUME KAVANAGH
Women's Auxiliary Air Force who died on 04 September 1944 Age 24
    Remembered with Honour
    RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL

In this case it is a lost grave/marker situation. She died of TB in Edinburgh (see attached Death Registry extract).

That’s right Ross , Margaret Dignan Hume Kavanagh. If you have details of her I would doff my cap in true tribute as I’ve found the sum of sweet FA on her, even the AHB came back with the sum of zilch

Why does that not surprise me! Do they do research for people?
I just saw this... and didn't ask!

For some reason every time I go on it, it says it can't connect and to check my internet connection... which of course is fine... not sure why that is happening!
