    You are right Jim, I think that I owe it an apology next time I am down there, as it states here "defences and fortifications built of ‘Concrete’ are as important as those built in the time of the Romans or the Normans."

    As the Romans also built some defences and fortifications using concrete - actually very good concrete - perhaps this might have been better worded and perhaps also prefaced with the word Some. There are enthusiasts who seem to want every WW2 relic preserved in perpetuity.
