This looks as if it could be pretty useful--I know somebody who will be interest--but there are parts I can't read even when expanding each image to full size.

Edit: Not meaning to sound ungrateful--thank you for sharing this.

Many thanks, I have downloaded the docs and will work my way through them. I didn't know about this TNA file, having only found WO106/1615 and WO197/105. There is also the document that is on Naval History Net

Are you sure the reference is correct? I only ask as WO 166 is UK Forces war diaries and that ref is for 159 Brigade HQ in 1941.

Only the first two pages are too small to read. Thanks

This title is as you say Drew, incorrect. It needs changing and it does not appear that I can do this, as I cannot seem to edit the title only the text. I agree this this not a WO 166 file. You have two sets of apologies, one for getting it wrong and secondly, being uncertain as to which of the Aerial files it is. I will not be going to NA for some months so I cannot check. When I do, it will be to call up WO106/1615 and WO 197/105 to check these first. I have not used these for my own work hence not until today being caught out.

    Osborne2,
Thanks for posting. I too don't keep as accurate source records as I should!

Rushing to avoid missing my train, put the wrong yellow document tag details on the file folder. Mea damn culpa

I have now trawled through my notes and photographs and I confirm my previous error but can tell you that the attached photographs are from WO 197/105. Thank you for pointing it out. My apologies again.
