I have an idea for a project & have been looking at photos like these of soldiers by large roadside crucifixs. Have you any in your collections ? I know the Soviets banned religion so I doubt there will be many from the East. I'm sure there would be a few in Poland . I'm interested to see what you find & share of similar images. Thanks.

I have a real nice one which was I like to add a real nice crucifix donated by the family of the killed US pilot and the villagers in Germany. They also look afterr it with fresh plants from time to time. But don't know how to do it. Can someone help or send me a PM ? know how to add the jpg to an E-mail. Stefan. Stefan.
