    Interesting.
Displays fine on Firefox & Chrome when fully logged out of Google (& the forum).
Doesn't show on Edge (Not that I, or possibly anyone, uses Edge, so my installation isn't set up in any way.)

    Now displaying on all.
    I learned a thing...

I presume its not meant to be a black and white "no entry" sign using Google on an Android phone

I had a problem a while back with a stalker (BB)who registered on every Forum I used (even here) and who reported me constantly to Photobucket for every image I uploaded. There was an author who was in a conversation with me on the forum and I scanned some of his book pages and uploaded them to make a point and this stalker reported that to photobucket and got them taken down as copyright infringement! Short story is BB was such a tool I decided to switch from Photobucket to another host and moved everything over. I was not caught out by the Photobucket ransom demands and thus would like to thank BB for saving me from that upheaval!

  6. Still doesn't work for me on Firefox 68.0.2 (64 bits), nor on IE (I won't type the version number, which is over 10 digits long!). Maybe something to do with my security settings...

    Yep.
Something to do with Java & how Google displays your albums to you in their proprietary viewer.
There's some fiddly workarounds, but they do look a pain in the arse.

Guess we'd better start pushing image resizing more forcefully.

    335kb:
    Shrunk.jpg

Difference for day-to-day use: negligible. (Other than the shrunk file loading much faster & putting less stress on Otto's storage & server)

I see that on my Macbook running Safari too . . .

However, von Poop's last two images show quite happily. :D

The laughable daily emails from these twats.

    YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE DELETED!
    YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DELETED!
ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT YOUR ACCOUNT DELETED?!
WE REALLY MEAN IT THIS TIME!
    DELETE ALERT!

    For months.

I emptied my account of images six years ago.
I hope their panic and financial ruin is real.
I even hope their pets are massively inconvenienced, and may their houses be damaged & their shares made worthless.
To the dustbin of the internet with them.
    The lying liars.

I thought I might as well finally look to see "what's he on about?" as you Brits say.

Geeze, no wonder you're a bit irritated.

    Criticism[edit]
Photobucket announced a change to its Terms of Service on June 26, 2017,[26] requiring a US$399 per year subscription fee for those who want to hotlink images from Photobucket's servers to display on other sites,[27] a service it had previously offered free. This change resulted in vast numbers of photos online being replaced with a graphic advising users to upgrade their account. Photobucket has received extensive criticism in response, with many charging the company with "blackmail" or "extortion", and destroying the design of many websites.[28] In March 2018, under the guidance of new CEO Ted Leonard, plans initially ranging from US$1.99 to US$8.99 monthly based on storage size replaced the flat-rate model.[29] Prices later jumped to a range from US$4.48 to US$11.48 monthly for those same usage increments.[30]

The criticism is reflected on ratings across various online reviews - resulting in an average of 1.2 stars out of 5 across two popular review websites.[31][32] It has also resulted in an "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau page.[33

Yeah, agree with Herr von Poop.

    They suck greatly.

I had large number of photos stored there. Upon receipt of their missive advising me of the change in terms, I deleted all photos and moved on.

    Don't bait and switch me.

A site called Classmates did the same thing several years ago. I cleaned my account out and ignored their regular bleats to visit the site. Eventually, I blocked all email from them, as I did with Photophucket.
