Hi I recently obtained a certificate of lifelong membership of the Royal British Legion for a Major Rudloph Fox Burr, dated 1945. It is signed by various high level people in the Legion. I did a quick search on the name, and I think it is for Harry Rudolph Fox Burr, who served with SOE - possibly in Crete. He appears to have been a POW at some point (according to Findmypast) but was repatriated. Does anyone have any more information on him? There is a file at Kew on him - Harry Rudolph Fox BURR - born 13.02.1906 | The National Archives Thanks in advance Matt

Hi, Mr. Fox Burr climbed with a man called Francis Waldron Giveen in Snowdonia in the 1920's. I believe he also had a Patent application with him. Mark
