Hi to all, can anyone provide me with the original maps of Ref: 1:50.000 Sheet No 109.IV. & 108 I ? I've taken these numbers from a war diary. I did have a couple of decent websites that provided a shed load of maps in the Italian campaign, but like a fool I've lost it from my laptop.

    Regards
    Stu.

    Thank you to you all.

Sorry for the late reply.. Been busy on another thread.

Richard, can you tell me what is the difference in scale? Sorry if I'm asking a silly question? Frank, thank you for the group photo.

    Regards
    Stu.

I am not Richard, but on his behalf, both maps (post #4) are 1:50,000, see top left of documents.

Tony, i can see that you are not Richard! I'm sure that he does not need you to speak on his behalf. No problem.

Has i have mentioned, I'm between threads. I have not had a proper chance to have a look at the sites that you & Richard have provided. I do remember coming across them both in the past.

    Nice one to you both.

    Regards

Uncle Target, no problem. It may be wise for you contact Scott1975? We could do it that way if you wish? I'm interested in the attachment.

Jeez its worse than jet lag. Tried Scott but his kids are there suppose its Fathers Day
I have some copies of original Anzio Maps not studied them yet but you might recognise the target markings.
Tried to photograph the whole thing but it loses definition so scanned the bits with markings.
get in touch via Scotty and I will send you the attachment.

    Hi,

Not always a good idea to put a full email address on the forum - bots and other nasties might use it for spam etc -

Usual way is to use “at” instead of “@“.

You might want to edit your post and amend your email address

Sorry Stu didn't want to upset you but we all have children I lost my dad in 1977 and my mother in 1992.
It seems that its not worth the effort to try to be of help.
This whole research and study was going fine until I came back on here.
I came to give more than to receive but it appears to have backfired.
Perhaps I should go away for good and live the life of a recluse.
    Wont bother you again.

Don't be silly. You have not understood what i have said. You are of help! If you have information with regards the 67 Field Regiment? Then share it. For Gods sake, this is whats this forum is about.;) In my eyes, its rather a strange thing to say: ( I came to give more than to receive, but it appears to have backfired!) Why would you want to be recluse? By the way, I don't have any children.

    Regards,
    Stu.
