    For me collecting photographs from WW2 is probably the most interesting. You see things that are not recorded in history books and shows the unfiltered scenes. I picked up this Japanese private photo book about 15 years back. I

    Great images shown there, especially of Hirohito. I have some similar photographs that were taken from the body of a dead Japanese soldier during Chindit 2.

    I was not sure if the one with Hirohito on his horse was a mass produced one like the formal ones. Interesting that the soldiers would carry the same type of pictures.

    I think this depicts the Japanese Society of the day. Devotion to the Emperor and so on.

    Unfortunately I have not had it translateted as of yet. I have a friend who has offered so I just need to bring it over
