Enllisted in 1941 He transferred to a Search Light Regiment on 28th March 1945 Z(T) 5.2.1946 is the date of his discharge from the regular army to a Territorial Field (Fld) Regiment. He would have been eligible for recall up until the age of 45. Z Reserve of soldiers and officers who had served between 3 September 1939 and 31 December 1948 were available for recall if under 45 years of age.
