Hi, i would like to know if there were any American army bases in Romney Marsh during WW2. I am researching my grandads life in the army and have his army records but although there is no mention of Romney Marsh my nan once told me the following..... During the war my grandparents were living in American barracks on an English army base? Bit confusing really, my grandad was a CQMS.
    Thanks Paul

I would have responded to this post in a likewise manner Clive. Well done. Rodney was my Dad's favourite Rangers player, mine was his successor, Stan Bowles.
