Don't start threads with 'Mail' or 'RM' or 'ID' as the first word in the title (for the moment).

    Evenin,

TD pointed out that a thread of Guy's wasn't allowing anyone to post on it.
Neither Owen nor I could edit it either.

Conclusion is that beginning with 'Mail' created a weird URL issue where /Mail made the server think it was a dodgy link to the mail system.

Fixed, via a convoluted process, but have informed Otto so he can have a deeper look.
Morale & Mail - Postal service to Normandy 1944

Apologies to Guy if he saw his thread do weird things while I was fixing.
    Nobody's fault.

JUST PLEASE DO NOT START THREADS WITH 'MAIL' until we have this fixed.

    Cheers,
    ~A

(And thanks to TD for reporting.)

Have you thought about refusing to work for any organisation with 'mail' in the title as well ?

Royal mail why cant they leave your package in a safe place like other couriers got to go to the sorting office tomorrow to pick up a package ( crucible of fate) that was to big to put through the letter box

It's a good job that we're Second World War and don't need to mention chainmail too often.

Whatever, I do feel that as this problem is to do with the word 'mail' and involves, by his own admission, 'not working', it should henceforth be known as the 'Owen Bug' :)

Here in Australia, I'd prefer to collect - we have way too many "mail thieves" who feel it's their God-given right to pilfer mail left in mailboxes (unsecured) and/or "safe places". Even leaving under the front mat doesn't help and our couriers are worse: leave their packages on the doorstep for the world to see and help themselves.

The 'Mail' I could understand. Sites have mail pages, servers get confused, but now one beginning with 'RM' did the same, which is a bit of a bugger for those with Green-hatted interests.
So... avoid RM as the first title word too.
Sorry, will nudge the glorious leader again.
