I usually agree with you but I can't let this poor guy go see Windtalkers without a warning. I think it is neck and neck with Pear Harbor as the worst WWII movie ever.
Well it made me understand the reason for them, the prejudice they faced, and the security as to why they were always 'accompanied' by a senior NCO, and the problems the Japanese had trying to break their code I would agree that too much of the movie is spent on the Cage character, more should have been spent on the Navajo's which is essentially what the film was supposed to be about - but hey ho its the US film making industry that has the money and.................................... TD
I have the DVD and I agree that it is a typical Hollywood war film, but it did at least bring recognition to the Native Americans whose code was never broken. Regards Tom
