Hi I’m about 10 years too late with this reply . My mum, who died this year aged 92, was a friend of Eddie Adamson. The SAS trained in the Ayrshire town where she lived and she corrrspoded with him. I have some of her letters which were returned. I always understood that Eddie had no siblings. She visited the cemetery in Rom on 3 occaisions after she retired.
