A friend of mine has asked if anyone knows anything their Grandad Cliff Wales and his WW2 Royal Navy Experience. They have his medals, but don't know anything about his service record etc. Many Thanks.
    His medals include:

    1) 39-45 Star

    2) Atlantic Star

    3) North Africa Star

    4) Victory Medal

    5) Long Service police Medal

Medals mounted wrong as the rosette should not be on the Africa star ribbon, if he was entitled it should be the North Africa clasp

The police is the special constabulary
