    Ask Andy - Drew5233 or Lee- - PsyWar.Org .
I've also messaged a couple of members with an interest in the DLI about this thread.
I hope they can help you out too.

    Welcome to the forum, Steve.

You will find an excellent thread on the action in which Pte. Albert Tucker was wounded on 4 October 1944 here: NIJMEGEN BRIDGEHEAD: II.SS Pz Corps' counterattack in October 1944 - but particularly at posts 39 to 43, which deal specifically with the 9th Bn Durham Light Infantry.

Pte Tucker is also mentioned in the Roll of Honour in the battalion history, The Gateshead Gurkhas (Harry Moses).

NB. I will ask Pieter (stolpi), who created the 'Nijmegen Bridgehead' thread, if he can amend his narrative to include the fact that Pte. Albert Tucker was a casualty of this action and died of wounds the following day.

    Best,

    Steve.

No, Steve. It's in a book. However, I will take the book into work later, scan the RoH and post it up here ASAP. Do you require the whole RoH or just the page with Albert's name on it?

    Best,

    Steve.
