    Hi All,
    Just a quick (cheeky) request.

To put you all on notice, my remit for war grave & memorial photos will be changing to ALL 5 Foot Guards regiments; Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh.

I'd just like to ask any of you visiting cemeteries to keep an eye open for me in the absence as yet, of any cemetery lists. And should the opportunity arise, please take some photos for me - especially for Unknown (unidentified) Guardsmen.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Diane

    You are being cheeky. :D

I've just checked Geel, Leopoldsburg and Bergen-op-Zoom and found 83 to add to my list.

    You're a dear.

    Andy,
I was jealous of the long lists the rest of you had. Only decided to start into it now; thanks to 'a little push' from cwgc.

I am taking the same excellent attitude that Spidge has ... it'll all come together eventually.

    Regards,

My list is still very long!

I have managed to find you some already, now I know why I take as many piccies as I can when I am anywhere!
And I am so glad I did a huge alphabetic database of all those thate are NON Airborne, made it so much easier to find them.

Expect a few emails either later today or early tomorrow!

Just off to check the Grenadiers and Coldstreamers

    Regards

    Andy

As I am currently bogged down in retrieving as much cwgc info as possible, I would just like to ask any of you visiting cemeteries to keep an eye open for me in the absence as yet, of any cemetery lists. I have a fair few to send you and it might be easier to put them on a disc and send them to you. Can you pm me with an address.

Unfortunately I did not get them all due to time pressure because of unplanned events (exciting and pleasant I hasten to add).

    Thanks again Tom.

Phil, that would be brilliant. I am sure that I have all of IG at Brookwood thanks to Andy and Tom, but nothing for the other regiments.

    Hi Andy,

Apologies, I will need to check that on the other laptop later as I can't remember off the top of my head.

As for how many more graves ... sorry, I am still getting my lists together. I am not that organised yet (thanks to having to copy and paste each record rather than relying solely on the cwgc links anymore). This really is just a heads up for now. I will be posting details up later when I amalgamate info from all the regiments.

    Cheers,
    Diane
