Well, this is my first thread in WW2 Talk and we're going to name a tank or armored vehicle.

What vehicle is this?

Posted Image

Clue: It is the most common German Half track of WW2.

(I couldn't get a good picture of this in combat!)

3rd armoured infantry company, divisional sign not immediately familiar, got distracted by this amazing site on organisation while checking (Vehicle isn't Littlefields, it's in the Czech republic. )

Edit: should add that as it's in Czecko I thought it might be a converted OT810 but I don't think so.

VP, take big breathes, have a sit down and think calm thoughts - poor boy does get rather over-excited sometimes!

Yep, that's why It's not familiar to me, not SS if the plates anything to go by either, couldn't be arsed to go through all the inf/pzgr divisions. Tried earlier and got very bored, have fun!

Did whole lot, no luck
Did discover that 183 Inf Div had a sign similar (as in a negative of) to 3rd Brit Div.

Ok - I'll give you it as you provided the initial clue ;)

The neubaufahrzeug Nr.2 it is, I'll let you off that it's prototype number 2 which became the 75mm Pz. V before that title was claimed by the Panther and was in fact assembled by Rheinmettal.

Hi Arlo,

We found that when posting questions for a quiz, people cheat (actually not people, just me!! :icon-mrgreenbandit:). It is best when posting a picture to remove the original file name and replace it with a random title, like "bugger off" :P. So when when saving on to your computer, use "save as" instead of "save".

Cheers, K

p.s. It's a M36 Jackson
