Anyone know what this boat is called?

Posted Image

As a point of ref the buildings on the left make up the Maritime Hospital at Zuydcoote.

There are two more ship wrecks further north of this location just before you reach Bray Dunes which are the Crested Eagle and Devonia.

Cheers for any help

The picture below is not the Devonia, and also not the Crested Eagle. Could it be the same boat as in the picture above I wonder?

Looking at the French site, I think that Drew's wreck has to be the Kestrel ?

These are the other two wrecks near the Crested Eagle and Devonia. To avoid confusion can we called the one on its own as wreck No.1 and the other between Crested Eagle and Devonia as wreck No.2.

Jan, I think that yours is the 'Lorina'.

Quite a nice site here to show what was lost.

After checking through the site above of all the listed wrecks there appears to only be one more Op Dynamo wreck and thats the Empress just North of Devonia up by Bray Dunes. I'll have to pay it a visit me thinks.

This is the Lorina, and the location is the beach between Malo les Bains and Malo Terminus.

Drew

You will have seen the pics of the Empress on the French Dunkirk wrecks site. I found this one of it in a more complete state on the beach which you may not have seen?
